The Market Shops, located at the entrance to Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, will host the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce and Young Professionals of Walton County (YPWC) for a combined Business After Hours event on Thursday, September 15, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The event will also celebrate the center’s revitalization and its many new restaurants and retailers.

Members and non-members from both groups along with community members are invited to explore The Market Shops outdoor shopping center while enjoying live music as well as light bites and complimentary refreshments from The Market Shops participating merchants. Those attending will receive a punch card with a map of the lifestyle center outlining specific merchants to visit throughout the night. Guests will receive a stamp from each shop they visit on their punch card. Once the fully stamped card is returned to the check-in table, it will be entered into the drawing for various gift cards, baskets, special merchant products, and more provided by the merchants and participating Chamber members.

In conjunction with the Business After Hours event, guests are also invited to celebrate the revitalization of The Market Shops. The property has recently completed a re-tenanting process to offer a wide range of quality dining, entertainment, and boutique retail offerings to serve the needs of the Emerald Coast customer. Each space at the center is now filled and fully leased. Today, The Market Shops has reestablished itself as a community destination, where locals and visitors alike come to shop, dine, and spend time together in its courtyards and grand lawn, including signature events such as the Annual Bloody Mary Festival.
